Premium coffee beans from Brazil and Honduras.
This coffee is named after Tiger Island. An island located in the Gulf of Fonseca. But the beans comes from the regions: Santa Bárbara, Lempira, Copan and Ocotepeque. The coffee comes from a community of farmers which is organised under the "Becamo Specialty Program". This aims to raise quality through improved production methods, taking into account the environment. The volcanic ash around Honduras and Tiger Island is very fertile because the volcanic ash layer is able to hold on to the rainwater in long time which makes it extremely favorable for coffee cultivation.
